How to make it work

  • Personal tasks: Users have a simplified version to review their own personal tasks, which also works for users with limited reading and writing abilities. Private tasks are tasks assigned to you or your private tasks, in which case no-one can view.

  • Feedback tasks: Users can give you feedback on anything, by taking a picture and assigning a user and a category. This will look like a normal task for admins.

  • This is useful to automatically create shopping and repair lists. If the feedback task got a "buy"-category and was assigned to you, you can use the filter to only show "buy"-tasks to create your personal shopping list.

  • This also works well for all the other categories, like Taxi. When you create a task to pick up a client from the airport and assign the Taxi-category to it, you and your favorite taxi driver will both have a list at the end of the month with all the pickups. This helps a lot to figure out how much you owe your driver.

  • The same works for maintenance as well: Let the user assign a task to the responsible maintenance person and let them figure out the issue by themselves. The user can track the tasks they have assigned to others in their team tasks screen. If this works out, it will reduce your workload dramatically.

  • Unfinished tasks will roll-over to the next day, so you don't miss them
